In the early 1850's John McAllen arrived in the Rio Grande Valley.
In 904 he established a town site known then as West McAllen. In
1907 another group established a town site know as East McAllen. The
two towns eventually became the town we all now today as McAllen,
Texas.

INX Awarded Contract to Deploy Unified Communications Solution for
City of McAllen
HOUSTON --(Business Wire)-- INX, Inc., (NASDAQ:INXI - News)
announced today that it has won a contract to design and deploy a
unified communications solution for the City of McAllen, Texas.
The City of McAllen, Texas selected INX to provide an advanced
unified communication and wireless network solution that will
enhance internal and external customer service support. The two-year
migration from the City's existing voice technology was launched
with the installation of a Cisco Unified Communications solution at
the New Convention Center, City Hall and Public Works. With over 400
IP-based phones currently in place, the City plans to grow this
system to around 1,500 over the next 12 to 18 months. The solution
also included deployment of a wireless mesh system at the New
Convention Center to provide guests with indoor and outdoor mobile
access to voice and data communications. INX will also deliver a
Cisco Unified Contact Center solution for City Hall and Public Works
call centers utilizing Cisco IP Contact Center Express, Tel-Rex IP
Call Recording, SynnApp interactive text messaging and ISI call
accounting system. The solution will improve customer service by
enabling more efficient interactions through centralizing voice
management and enhancing call center performance.
